French Tarragon (Artemisia dracanculus)

from $6.00

French Tarragon is a tall herb with slender-branched stems. French tarragon, however, seldom produces any flowers (or seeds). Others produce viable seeds.

Sun: Prefers full sun.

Soil: Well-drained soil.

Water: Water about once a week and allow the soil to dry between watering.

Zones: 1 to 5. Semi-hardy, can freeze out.

Height/Spread: French Tarragon will grow to about 2 to 3 feet tall and wide. French Tarragon spreads rapidly in the garden, you may want to give it a dedicated spot of its own. Limit its spread by planting in a large pot and sinking it into the ground.
