Oregano (Origanum vulgare)

Oregano (Origanum vulgare)

A classic culinary herb!  Small herbaceous plants with green leaves produce white-pink flowers.  Many varieties available - check with us for details.

Sun: Full to partial sun.

Soil: Light, well-drained soil. Oregano grows best in moderately fertile soil, so no need to add fertilizer or compost.

Water: Water thoroughly, only when the soil is dry to the touch. Do not overwater.

Zones: 4 to 8.

Height/Spread: Oregano will grow to 1 to 2 feet and spread to about 18 inches.
