This deciduous perennial plant produces antioxidant-rich red berries. Goji berries are a member of the nightshade family. Plants grow in long canes and require staking or a trellis.

Sun: Goji berry plants thrive in full sun.

Soil: Plant in fertile soil.

Water: Water regularly, keeping the soil moist, but not soggy, for the first six months. As the plant becomes established, decrease the water, allowing the soil to dry out slightly between watering.

Zone: 4 to 9.

Height/Spread: Goji berry bushes will grow to 3 to 8 feet high and wide.
