"Triple Crown" Thornless Blackberry (Rubus fruticosus 'Triple Crown')

Grow these great thornless blackberries! The large berries are extra-sweet, have great flavor, vigor, and productivity.

Triple Crown begins to ripen in mid-July. The plants grow into 12- 15 ft., semi-erect canes with dense foliage that offers protection against sun-scald.

Sun: Full sun to partial shade.  

Soil: Best grown in moist, organically rich, slightly acidic, well-drained soil. It is intolerant of wet soils.

Water:  Average water needs. Ensure plants receive one inch of water per week and more in hot temperatures.

Zones: 5 to 9.

Height/Spread:  The plants grow to 12 to 15 feet tall and will develop a spread of 6 to 7 feet.
