Lemongrass is an easy-going tropical plant. An ornamental grass with a citrusy aroma, lemongrass stalks can be used in cooking or making tea.

Sun: Lemongrass likes to grow in full sun or light shade.

Soil: Moist, well-drained soil that is slightly acidic.

Water: Lemongrass grows best in warm, humid conditions. Where the weather is dry, water at least every other day, and provide mist.

Zones: 8 to 10.

Height/Spread: Lemongrass can grow to 3 to 5 feet tall and 2 feet wide.
