Sun: Horseradish thrives in full sun but tolerates light shade.

Soil: Horseradish likes a slightly acidic to neutral soil pH of about 6.0 to 7.5. A loose soil rich in organic matter will produce the best roots.

Water: To keep the plant from looking ratty, water it once a week during dry spells.

Zone: 3 to 9.

Height/Spread: It grows to between 2-3 feet in height.
