Angelica (Angelica archangelica)

Angelica (Angelica archangelica)

$12.00

Angelica leaves can be used as a seasoning, medicine, and tea. Angelica has been a flavoring agent in many popular types of liquor, including gin and vermouth.

Sun: Angelica grows well in full sun or dappled shade; plants grown in partial shade will be significantly larger. Because the seeds need light to germinate, just press them into prepared soil.

Soil/Water: Angelica can be grown with reasonable success in almost any soil, but it does best in rich, moist, well-drained, slightly acid soil.

Height/Spread: Angelica can grow to 3 to 8 feet tall and it can spread 2 to 4 feet wide.

Zones: 4 to 9

Potential Pests: Watch out for aphids, leaf miners, spider mites, and crown rot.
